Project SPIRIT Sickle Cell Blood Drive at AC2026

At the 2026 session of the Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference, participants will have the opportunity to contribute a vital resource to individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease. In partnership with Project SPIRIT Sickle Cell and the American Red Cross, the Baltimore-Washington Conference will host a life-saving blood drive, offering attendees a meaningful way to support this critical need.

Project SPIRIT Sickle Cell is dedicated to fostering hope among young adults diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease through a community-based, spiritually grounded support program. The organization equips participants with tools to navigate the complexities of daily life and ongoing medical treatment, strengthening their ability to respond to challenges with resilience and confidence.

Founded in 2015 as a research initiative, Project SPIRIT Sickle Cell has evolved into a thriving organization committed to enhancing clients’ coping skills, improving self-efficacy, and building resilience as they navigate the demands of adolescence and young adulthood.
