Youth Ministry
The BWC creates safe and bold spaces in local faith communities, districts and other gatherings where students can be honest, open, heard, accepted, and equipped to live as disciples of Jesus Christ who share the Good News in word and deed. We believe that youth are a vital part of the body of Christ NOW and not just for the church of the future.
Ignite, a conference for youth, will draw 5,000 area youth together on March 7-9 2025 in Ocean City for a retreat and revival experience. This year’s theme is “& Go” rooted in the Great Commandment found in Matthew 28:19-20. Registration will open on September 15.
IGNITE is more than a conference. It’s more than bands and speakers. It’s about a generation. A generation united for Jesus Christ. It is part of a discipling and leader development cycle that includes:
- IGNITE Communities: Bonfire kickoff event at each camp in the Fall.
- IGNITE Conference in March with a study and activities to take back to local churches to extend both your reach and impact.
- IGNITE Summer Camp for youth and young adults interested in planning the following year's event.
- Collaborative Youth Group Formation. At IGNITE, we believe in harnessing the power of community to foster growth through providing a process and coaching for churches who want collaborative youth groups.
