See & Respect All People

A vital church is measured by the degree to which people inside and outside its walls are known, accepted, respected and valued as children of God by the church.

Seeing all the people is a mindset, skill set and heart set. Congregations need to build relationships with their neighbors to create spaces of belonging and inclusion, and to learn from shifting contexts.

To truly see all the people, church leaders must interrupt their fears and biases, grow in cultural humility and build authentic relationships with their neighbors.
