Please join DS Johnsie Cogman for an in-person training for all WED Unified Boards on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Calvary UMC (3235 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601). The Unified Board governance model allows churches to reorganize their administrative structure to increase ministry and minimize meetings, per BOD 247.2. 

This training will provide strategies for churches to successfully utilize this model.  You will learn such things as ... who should be on the board, what are the specific roles and responses of the board, what is the executive session and how it is implemented... just to name a few.  
District Superintendent, Johnsie W. Cogman, and other Unified Board members will lead the training.
