Analyze the historical and political background of U.S. immigration policy. Reflect upon the role and response of Christianity and the Church on immigration. Get equipped with language and tools to join advocacy efforts to push for a change in the immigration system at the local, state, and federal levels.
Requirements
- Being connected to a Wesley Foundation or Young Adult ministries at a United Methodist Church in the Baltimore-Washington or Pen-Del Annual Conferences.
- Having a valid passport.
- Committed to actively responding with advocacy steps mobilizing the local church and the conference to push for immigration policy change centering on the immigrant community.
