Lay Planter Training: Cultivating A Vision To Reach New People

The New Faith Expressions ministry of the Baltimore-Washington Conference is offering a learning opportunity for all laity to explore how to create new ministries, including new faith communities or new churches.

 The online Lay Planter Training, created by Path 1, begins with this session. It includes three classes that focus on the why of planting new faith communities, and seven self-paced sessions that cover how to plant a new ministry or church.

The training, part of an innovative new pilot program by the denomination, will fulfill continuing education requirements for CLM certification and enable CLMs to achieve certification as a lay planter. It can also be taken by any lay person interested in starting a new ministry.  

New Faith Expressions is a ministry designed to help bring the church that Jesus loves closer to the people Jesus loves.  What expression of faith is in your heart now? The Lay Planter Training will give you the tools and training to begin to live out that vision.
