reCall Summit 3.0

On Friday and Saturday, October 18 - 19, 2019, leaders united at St. Mary's Seminary and Ecumenical Institute for powerful discussions, enrichment and fellowship toward initiating the necessary changes in our communities.  Rooted with a foundation in John 10:10 and Micah 6:8, reCALL Summit 3.0 is a time of brave conversation as the church explores racial justice and reconciliation through a collaboration of movements.  Dr. David Anderson Hooker and a host of other difference makers engaged us in discussions for this essential work.

The Summit will also serve as the incubator for our upcoming United to Love Rally on September 19, 2020, which is the 4th movement in the series.  United to Love Baltimore will be an opportunity of education, enrichment and celebration.

UNITED TO LOVE BALTIMORE

The annual reCALL Summit was created in 2017 as an outgrowth of the Call to Action on Racial Justice, issued by the Northeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church.  It asks all churches to create systemic and fundamental change in the arenas of race.  The Summit is a vital, transformative piece of how the people of the Baltimore-Washington Conference are answering this call.
