In this course, participants will examine Bonhoeffer’s book Life Together: The Classic Exploration of Christian Community to gain an understanding of what Bonhoeffer envisions as a life of discipleship lived out in community. At the completion of the class, participants will be able to articulate that vision and put into context Bonhoeffer’s major tenets of life together in Christian community as they live out the call of the gospel and the church’s mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the contemporary church and society.

Class Assignments: Please read the book and/or other materials provided prior to class. To pass the class, participants must attend each session and complete all required assignments in the requested timeframe.
