Join with other youth leaders on Aug 20 at 7pm for a presentation from Chap Clark on Adoptive Youth Ministry.  Chap is a pastor, professor, and author of several books.  This session will help youth leaders take hold of the theology of youth ministry - to move beyond the mechanics of planning activities and meeting times to grasp a vision for "why" that will then inform the "what" and "how".  He will explain his theology of mutual adoption and what it takes to grow a thriving youth ministry (spiritual formation as opposed to counting attendance as a measure of success) that engages the whole congregation, and the importance of the youth leader's role in making that happen.
