Looking for how to improve your ministry with young adults? Dr. B. Kevin Smalls gives a quick rundown on three basic ingredients required for a quality young adult gathering:
- Enlightenment. Share one enlightening piece of information about the Bible or our faith that has them saying "wow" or "I never thought of that before."
- Agitation. Raise something controversial to get them to think and an opportunity to define their position.
- Fun. Allow fun to set the tone--don't micromanage it or seek to squash it. But remember, without enlightenment and agitation it is just a group of people hanging out!
