Bishop’s Schedule

Requests for Speaking, Preaching and Teaching Engagements

Bishop LaTrelle Easterling serves two annual conferences and is active in the denomination and ecumenical community in a variety of leadership capacities. She also wants to be available, when requested, for preaching and teaching engagements as well as engaging in a public witness where appropriate.

If your congregation or organization would like to invite Bishop Easterling to preach or teach, please contact Debbie Albrecht, her administrative assistant. Your formal request should appear on church letterhead and include the specifics of the worship service or special occasion. Ms. Albrecht can be reached at   or 410-309-3456. If Bishop Easterling is able to accept the invitation, guidelines to help plan her visit will be sent to you. Because of the fluid nature of the bishop’s schedule, the response to your invitation may not be finalized until three to six months before the preaching engagement.

In addition, in this season of the coronavirus, churches and other groups are asked to share their COVID protocols when they issue their invitation and specifics around the engagement may change at the last moment depending on the status of the virus in that region.

Bishop Easterling and the episcopal office staff invite you to pray for them as they serve in the Baltimore-Washington and Peninsula-Delaware Conferences, throughout the Northeast Jurisdiction and the global United Methodist Church.
