Missionaries
The United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries sponsors more than 300 missionaries in 60 countries. Churches throughout the Baltimore-Washington Conference share God’s love around the world by supporting many of these missionaries. If you would like to sponsor a missionary or have a missionary who is itinerating speak at your church, contact BWC Mission Secretary Jane Grays.
The BWC is especially excited to promote the UMC’s new mission program, Generation Transformation, an initiative to increase opportunities for young adults to engage in mission throughout the world. The programs
- Global Mission Fellows (
2 year mission, ages 20 – 30) - Global Justice Volunteers (
2 month mission, ages 18 – 30) - Individual Volunteers (flexible mission, ages 18 & up).
Learn more about this transformative opportunity for young adults to engage, connect and grow.
