Afternoon-Ethnic Local Church Forum

Thursday, June 09, 2022, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

An online Ethnic Local Church Forum, to identify the strengths and needs of ethnic local churches will be held Thursday, June 9. Participants can attend sessions at either 1:30 to 3 p.m. or 6:30 to 8 p.m.

What?
The Ethnic Local Church Forum is a place where people come together to talk and learn from each other. No topic is too small or too big to discuss.  The Ethnic Local Church Forum will identify the strengths and needs that ethnic local Churches have so that we can better encourage, advocate for and provide needed resources.

 Who?
The Ethnic Local Church Forum seeks to encourage and advocate for the local racial and ethnic ministries through the Baltimore-Washington Conference. Clergy and laity in ethnic local churches are both invited.

 Why?
Ethnic local churches are where people have meaningful personal relationships with God and seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Ethnic loal churches provide essential ministries to their members and their communities.  Ethnic local churches are concerned about their future, how they will grow and thrive. Ethnic local churches may feel disconnected from each other and benefit from learning how others practice ministry.

 How?
Join in the conversation with other ethnic local churches. This forum will be held twice on Zoom for 90 minutes sessions. You must register in Arena to receive the zoom link.
