A small membership churches forum will be held via Zoom Friday, March 18, 1:30-3 p.m. The same session will be held that evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Small Membership Church Forum is a place where people come together to talk and learn from each other. No topic is too small or too big to discuss. The Forum will identify needs and strengths small membership congregations have so that we can offer the resources and support that small membership churches need in 2022.
The majority of UMC congregations are small membership churches. Small membership churches are where people have meaningful personal relationships with God and seek to make disciples of Jesus Chris for the transformation of the world. They have unique needs for program and mission and are concerned about their future, how they will grow and thrive.
