The notion of “Beloved Community” is attributed to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who envisioned a society based on justice, equal opportunity, and love of one’s fellow human beings. Course participants will explore the tenets of beloved community set out by Dr. King and develop an understanding of their role as disciples in envisioning a more just and unbiased world for all people.
