Living Well: Our Heart Leads Us toward God and Others

Relationships are at the heart of our being. This one-day retreat will explore our relationship with God, others, and ourselves, as we draw from the wisdom of Howard Thurman, John O'Donohue, Lerita Coleman Brown, and others.  There will be time to journal, reflect in small groups, and make space for your own spiritual practice.

Attendees will earn 0.9 CEUs for participation.

The retreat will be led by Rev. Andy Peck-McClain, pastor of Washington Grove UMC. Andy has found his spirituality deepened through various life journeys – seminary, marriage, fatherhood, even the United Methodist ordination process!  Andy is scheduled to finish spiritual guidance training with the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington D.C. by the end of 2020.  He has previously pastored in Manhattan; Staten Island; Durham, NC; Cornwall, NY; Harrisonburg, Va.; and Emmitsburg.  He enjoys reading, listening to jazz, and as an exercise in humility, rooting for the New York Mets.
