Ibram X. Kendi speaks at Foundry UMC

Foundry UMC's  inaugural William Astor and Vivian T. Kirk Symposium speaker  Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, will offer a one-hour lecture on his new book "How to Be Anti-Racist" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17. 

 

The Kirks were life-long advocates for education and justice, committing their lives to the work of racial equity, LGBTQ+ Advocacy, and the desegregation of educational and denominational structures in the United States. The Kirk Symposium Series will educate, equip, and empower participants to engage the critical social issues of our day and encourage the integration of theology and spirituality in the work of justice and advocacy.
