New this Week

 

2017 Church Conference training's will be held on August 2, 2017 at Cedar Grove UMC and August 3, 2017 at Hall UMC.  There will be two trainings held at each location.  The first training is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and the second training is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  We encourage churches to send at least two representatives as we will provide a tutorial on the new platform scheduled to launch on August 1, 2017.

 

Please note that the trainings are free of charge and we are encouraging all churches to send their administrators and/or persons that assist with the completion and submittal of documents. To RSVP/Register please visit the Baltimore Washington Conference website or click here.

The BWC's Early Childhood Educators Conference will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, from 7:30 am. to  3 p.m. at St. Andrew's UMC, 4 Wallace Manor Road in Edgewater. The theme of the conference, is "Shaping Hearts and Changing Lives." The cost is $55. Learn more and register

 

The Foundation for Evangelism recognizes one clergy person each year as the Distinguished Evangelist of the Year for The United Methodist Church. The award comes with a grant for future ministries.
