O give thanks to the Lord, for God is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, those he redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. -- Psalm 107:1-3

Loving God, giver of all light and life, you sent Jesus Christ into the world not to condemn,  but to save.

Thank you for your word and witness that enables us to follow you and your will for us more closely.

Thank you for your love, compassion, and grace.

Loving God, there are times when we have not trusted you fully and have been discouraged because of it; times of uncertainty and transition. Forgive us, God.

When we do not hear your voice, help us to rest in your love as we wait for your answer to our prayers.

Thank you for loving us unconditionally. We entrust our present and our future to you, knowing that your power will transform any circumstance.

Please calm our fears, show us how to really live, and teach us how to serve you well. Help us to lift up the light of Christ, so that the world might believe in him and receive the gift of eternal life, through Christ, the light of the world.

Your kingdom come; your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
