BWC Service of Clergy Transition is June 7
"A Service of Blessing for Those In Transition" is scheduled for Monday, June 7, at 7 p.m.
This new, special service of blessing for all clergy and pastors who are receiving new appointments, celebrating retirement, or beginning a new status will include a remembrance of our baptism and prayers for pastors, families, and churches in transition.
The In-Person Option will be held at the Outdoor Sanctuary at Wesley Freedom UMC in Eldersburg. This will be an informal outdoor worship celebration with live music, preaching, prayers, and Communion. Families are welcome. Masks are required and social distancing will be maintained. The rain date is Tuesday, June 8, at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
The service will be live-streamed on the BWC's Facebook site. A recording will also be available later that week on YouTube.
Church Sign Language Interpreting Academy
July 10, 10 a.m. to noon
The Zoom session will have three tracks: introduction to church interpreting; interpreting Scripture; and introduction to sign language. Register.
