Depression

ADHD, behavior problems, anxiety, and depression are among the most commonly diagnosed mental disorders in children. Sadness is a normal human emotion.  We will encounter life experiences that make us sad such as moving, disappointment, death, transitions (i.e., parent/caregiver separation, divorce), and adverse childhood experiences such as poverty, family crises, mental illness of family members, incarceration of loved ones, and other negative experiences which affect us emotionally.
