The Annual Meeting of the Historic Strawbridge Shrine will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, at New Hope -- Old Bethel -- United Methodist Church.

Worship and business will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. From 11 a.m. to noon there will be a panel discussion on "the Contemporary Meaning of the Ministries of Robert and Elizabeth Strawbridge for the Church of Today. The speakers will include Delores Martin, the Conference lay leader; Rev. Doug Tzan, who is on the Shrine Board; and John Strawbridge of the Conference Historical Society.

If you are staying for lunch, an advance reservation is needed. The cost is $15. The deadline to register is Oct. 19. Make checks out to The Strawbridge Shrine Association and mail them to 2220 St. Paul St., Baltimore, MD 21218.
