On Saturday, April 14, 2018, 8:00 am – 11:00 am, Glen Burnie UMC in partnership with the Annapolis District UMMen will sponsor an event to feed 10,154 families around the world. Volunteers will work in a fun, assembly-line fashion to package highly nutritious dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. The Glen Burnie United Methodist Men will provide a delicious breakfast for all volunteers. 

 

For this goal, we need at least 40 volunteers including youth and adults of all ages. Volunteers must register here or send Richard  Campbell an email.

Each meal costs 29 cents, so we also need financial support. One way to help raise $2,900 is by sponsoring a volunteer. Donations of any amount can be made to Rise Against Hunger
