Problem Gambling Certification

For Clergy and Lay Ministers

March 10, 11, 17 & 18 | 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

This Clergy/Lay Ministers Certification is designed to provide basic knowledge about gambling addiction, problem gambling, treatment and recovery resources to enhance the clergypersons' and layministers' skills at recognizing compulsive gambling; and, to provide information for the gambler’s family on dealing with their loved one’s addiction.

This specialized 24-Hour Training for Clergy and Lay Ministers leads to IGCCB Certification (Non-Clinical). The Clergy/Lay Minister Certification prepares those working and serving in faith/spiritual settings to provide for persons seeking help for problem gambling (directly and/or indirectly affected), initial intervention through education, referral assistance, support group referral and enhancement, and spiritual support (specific to gamblers and their loved ones).

2.4 CEU’s - Free to attend. Certification costs $50.

**On Fridays, participants must park on the loop area beyond the parking lot near the vacant stone building.
