The United Methodist Men of the Baltimore-Washington Conference are embarking on a special mission/outreach project at their Gathering on Saturday, October 15 at First UMC in Hyattsville, MD. They are inviting 600 men to the event, to be ignited to “Lead Like Jesus.”
Special speakers include the Rev. Rod Hairston (life coach and past chaplain for the NFL Baltimore Ravens), the Rev. Chris Holmes (life coach minister and past Annapolis District Superintendent), and the Rev. Dr. Rebecca Iannicelli (Washington East District Superintendent).
In the afternoon, the men will also participate in a faith action “Stop Hunger Now” project, that involves preparing and packaging 10,000 meals to feed the hungry around the world.
