Mission Central HUBs
"I assure you that when you have done it for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you have done it for me."
HUBs extend the reach and service opportunities of Mission Central, located in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Together, the 35 HUB sites (and growing!) work to “Connect God’s Resources with Human Need.” Three of the current HUB sites are located in Maryland, within the Baltimore-Washington Conference.
If you are feeling called to take a more active role in Mission Central HUBs, there are multiple ways to fulfill that call.
Become a HUB
Your donations are critical to Mission Central being able to fulfill its goal of “Connecting God’s Resources with Human Need.” In addition to the items needed for UMCOR Kit assembly, your donation of household goods, furniture, clothing and even computers can make a difference for someone in need.
Mission Central HUBs have limited space to accept items. Only needed items will be accepted.

In their own words: Liberty Grove HUB
Being a Mission Central HUB has allowed Liberty Grove UMC to dream God-sized dreams, dreams that extend well beyond the doors of our church building.
Our partnership with Mission Central has allowed us to connect with other people of faith and with other United Methodist congregations, sharing both resources and responsibilities with several of our nearby UM Greater Washington District neighbors, and even stretching all the way to a congregation in an entirely different Conference in Northern Virginia.
And our partnership with Mission Central has allowed us to connect with those in our community, inviting and including local school groups, scouting groups, senior groups, and more... providing opportunities for many and any to love, to serve, and to learn about the role that the Church can and does play in our world.
This ministry has been a blessing beyond words, and we thank Mission Central for allowing us to partner with them as, together, we “connect God’s resources with human need.”
