Workday at SERRV

Friday, October 07, 2016, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Volunteers are needed to unpack, quality check and retail price art work, carvings, weavings, etc. These items are the work of artists and artisans from third-world countries. They are provided a market for their products which they otherwise would not have. By this work you can be involved in a service project to help eliminate global poverty. Learn about different cultures and how these products are created.

Youth 14 to 17 may work and earn high school or college credit for Public Service hours with a parental permission slip (provided).

Adult and youth volunteers are welcome, come for all day or part of a day. 25 volunteers are needed. Work 6 hours and receive a free lunch.
