“In the Afternoon of Life” is a seminar for clergy retirees and their spouses, and for all clergy thinking about retiring in the next five years. The seminar, which will explore retirement as a pilgrimage, will be held Thursday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the BWC Mission Center in Fulton.
Participants will explore the new identity that often accompanies retirement and examine the questions: What challenges will I face; what great adventures can lie ahead; how do I address no longer being an active clergy person; and, what will this all mean for my spouse?
Cost: $35 for clergy, $10 for spouses. Includes book and lunch.
