Under the visionary leadership of Bishop LaTrelle Miller Easterling, we are taking a day to learn from, re-commit to and celebrate with the youth and young adults in our midst on Saturday, June 1st during the 235th Session of the Baltimore-Washington Conference of The United Methodist Church.
All confirmands and their families are invited to attend all of the events on June 1st beginning at 9:00 a.m. or just the Confirmation Celebration from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Confirmands need to be in their places by 1:30 (details will be sent to those who RSVP).
The Celebration of Confirmands includes a final Blessing/Commissioning of youth and young adults including Ambassadors for Mission of Peace, high school and college graduates, summer service teams, and UMD Hubbers, and ChangeMakers.
There is no cost to attend but there is a need to RSVP by May 15.

9:00 a.m. Opening Experience led by BWC Youth and Young Adults
9:45 Plenary with Mark DeVries, President of Ministry Architects
10:15 Presentation of the Strategic Plan by the Interim Young People’s Ministry (YPM) Board with creative highlights of what youth and young adults are doing and how members of the BWC are being called to entrust young people with ministry so more transformed lives transform lives
11:00 Learning Labs for local churches, youth and young adults to engage with the YPM Strategic Plan Goals
12:00 Lunch
1:30 Confirmands gather as instructed
2:00 Young People's Ministry Awards and Acknowledgments

If you will be present for lunch, you could choose to join the general or Moral Courage lunch at the Marriott (reserve your seat here) or plan on eating at a local establishment.
