Thomas C. Buzby – October 4, 2015

Thomas Charles “Tom” Buzby, 77, of Westminster, husband of Pastor Mary Artz Buzby , died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at home. She has served New Hope UMC in New Windsor for the past three years. Funeral services were held Oct.10, 2015, at Messiah UMC in Taneytown, with Rev. Brenda Shields officiating.

Tom Buzby was born Dec. 10, 1937, in Baltimore City, the son of the late Thomas Faulk Buzby and Alma Mae Koch Buzby.

He was the owner of Buzby Restorations, in business for over 30 years. In his younger years, he was a florist.

Buzby enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and gardening, and was an avid bow hunter, a member of Pipe Creek Bow Club.

Survivors include his wife and four children: Thomas Charles Buzby, Jr. of Taneytown; Shane L. Buzby of Union Bridge;  Anna Mae Buzby and Jean Kyle Buzby both in Maryland;  four step-children, Geoffrey Brown in Frederick;  Jonathan Brown in Charleston, S.C.; Jennifer Kolmar in Aiken, S.C.; and George Artz in Hanover, Pa.; and eight grandchildren.
