Academy on Finances for Local Churches - Session 3 (Fulton, MD)

Consisting of four sessions taken over two years, the Academy for Church Finance seeks to enhance the understanding and skills of laity for financial leadership in the local church so that laity and clergy work in partnership to grow healthy congregations.

Space is limited. Register early.

Tuition: $1,500 per church (Discounts for current clients)
Payable in installments over two years.

  • $200 due at time of acceptance into the Academy

Session 3: Best Practices for Church Finances and Using Vision and Mission Budgets

Lesson Objectives: Learn best practices for managing aspects of local church finances including alternative giving methods, best accounting practices, investment policies, reporting, budgeting, and the role of the finance team and learn how to align a congregation’s budget with the vision and mission.

Lesson Objectives:  Learn from non-church fund raisers the best practices around identifying the needs and donors, the various facets of fundraising, making the “ask” and donor life cycle, and Stewardship, thanking, and donor engagement.
