The School of Congregational Development is a premier event for United Methodist leaders for equipping conference leaders, clergy, and laity to lead vital, dynamic, life-changing congregations.

A congregation’s primary work is to reach new people for Christ, to connect them to God and to create systems and ministries that enable them to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.  The role of leadership is to listen to the community, to the congregation and to God in order to articulate the vision of where the congregation is going in the future.  Discipleship is a process through which a person makes a commitment to follow Jesus Christ, grows in his or her understanding of God, and shares his or her faith through word and deed with others in the church and community.  A vital congregation has leaders who model Christian discipleship by encouraging one another, serving others and living out their faith with a deep commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

Join with hundreds of fellow Christians, friends, colleagues and past participants to network and learn what is new, what’s working, how to empower your leadership team
