MASS CHOIR for Sunday Morning Worship

For the first time, your youth can register to be part of a Mass Choir for Sunday morning worship at ROCK 2012.

The Mass Choir is now at capacity - Please try again next year.

• Please read all the following carefully! 

The cost to register is $10, which is n on-refundable.

• The Mass Choir will be singing 3 selections as part of Sunday worship at ROCK. Singers must be registered as part of their church group using this separate registration specifically for the Mass Choir.  The 3 pieces are currently planned to  be “High and Lifted Up,” “Declare your Name,” and “Redeemer.” We are hoping we will do “Redeemer” with Nicole C. Mullen singing the solo.
• There are a limited number of spaces for singers and registration will close once all the spots are filled. Spaces in the choir will not be saved until the registration process has been completed. All singers will be required to learn the music at their local church prior to attending the ROCK retreat and there will be a mandatory rehearsal at 1:00 PM on Saturday, Jan 21^st in Hall A/B (Main Hall on first floor) Following the Saturday rehearsal at ROCK singers will receive their event T-shirt. Singers may be removed from the choir during rehearsal for behavior issues or if they do not know the music, in which case they will not receive the T-Shirt and not be part of the choir. (The T-Shirt effectively functions as a “ticket” to get on stage Sunday)
• Rehearsal materials will be provided to churches once they have fully completed the  registration process, including completing the payment. There will be no refunds for ANY of the registrations. In addition to the rehearsal materials (sheet music and rehearsal CD) each singer will receive a special event T-shirt to be worn on Sunday morning and each church that registers singers will receive a DVD of the Sunday morning worship.  
• It is critically important that all participants understand this is an opportunity to lead in worship, and while it will be exciting it is not a chance to be a “star” or to draw attention to themselves or their talent. Our focus will be on bringing our absolute best offering of praise to God.  Being part of a large ensemble coming together like this will be an amazing blessing, but it is critical that both adults and students are very clear about our purpose – to give Glory to God!
• After registration has closed Tom Price (Director of Youth Ministries) will be contacting you and sending you the rehearsal materials. He will go over additional details with you and we may possibly be able to set up a regional rehearsal prior to ROCK.
• Sunday Mass Choir at ROCK 2012 here are a limited number of spaces available and we will close registration when the spots are filled.  Registration will not be complete until payment is received.
