Conference Council on Youth Ministries (CCYM) Presents: 
ROCK 2010  "The Light Knight"
Scripture:   Romans 13:12   "The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." 

This event is for youth between the ages of middle school and high school.  The chaperones must be over 21 years old (according to the BWC safe sanctuaries policy) and adult chaperone must be at least 5 years older that the youth they are chaperoning.  Our event requires you to have a church affiliation, so if you have youth that want to attend and you have a connection with a local UMC in your area, I suggest that you contact them and partner with them to attend. 

The Praise Leaders for ROCK 2010 are:

Unsearchable Riches loves to play live as much as possible and has had the pleasure of opening for groups such as Mercy Me, Audio Adrenaline, FFH, Avalon, Go Fish, ZoeGirl, among others. They have put out 3 CD's including their latest release Songs to be Sung. Their song "Friday Night" was the ..1 requested song on Lancaster, PA's radio stating WJTL's top 5 at 5 for several weeks. ALSO FEATURING: Drama by Ground Zero Master's Commission and Dance by Salt N' Light Dance Team

Urban Street Level ministers at youth and adult conventions, retreats, conferences, schools, festivals, concerts, churches, and correctional facilities in  the urban, suburban and rural areas throughout the United States.  Urban Street Level Artists have ministered with John P. Lee, Fred Hammond, Daryll Coley, News Boys, Bob Carlisle and Bruce Carroll Join members of the Encounter Festival leadership team for light refreshments and an opportunity to network with other youth leaders while learning about Encounter.  Encounter is a youth and young adult festival being held at Manidokan Camp & Retreat Center July 16-18, 2010.  This breakout is for adult leaders only.

Transportation in Ocean City - The town of Ocean City is pleased to offer the ROCK attendees a free ride on their municipal buses. All you need to catch the bus at any of the bus stops up and down Coastal Highway is to be weaing your ROCK writsband. Remember
youth should never travel alone. Chaperones are still responsible for the safety and well being of their youth at all times.
