Bishop John Schol will provide an update on the Zimbabwe Partnership and where we are headed, followed by an update by a Zimbabwean on the status of the country.   We will also briefly review the previous summit held in Zimbabwe in 2009 and provide the latest details of the HOPE Fund. A continental breakfast will be provided at 8:30am.

Afterwards, there will be ten brief updates of various active and upcoming ministries in Zimbabwe, including Nothing but Nets, the Health Initiative, the satellite communication project, efforts to send a shipping container, possible agricultural projects, how to be involved in orphan care and refugee support, various construction projects, upcoming UMVIM teams to Zimbabwe and last but not least supporting Zimbabwean pastors.

Once the brief updates are given we will break into various table discussions where participants can move around to hear more information and determine if they like to get involved.

The purpose of the summit will be to provide a venue where individuals and churches can discover opportunities of involvement in Zimbabwe in order to energize active and upcoming ministries.  The summit’s long-term goal will be to encourage and define new individual and church partnerships as well as collectively innovate on new ministries for the continual betterment of our brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe.

We would like you to attend if only to hear about the ministries we support through the Zimbabwe Partnership.
